Drug Uses Duphaston is used for treatment of abdominal pain and bleeding during pregnancy, abdominal pain associated with menstrual periods, absence or irregular menstrual periods when taking oestrogens, female infertility, endometriosis and certain other conditions as determined by your doctor. How Taken Consult your doctor regarding the dosage suitable for your medical condition. Missed Dose If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. However if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the Missed Dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one. More Information Do not share this medicine with others for whom it was not prescribed. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor Storage Store Duphaston at room temperature not exceeding 77 °F (25 °C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Parlodel out of the reach of children.
Warnings/Precautions Before taking Duphaston, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances, if you have cardiovascular, renal or hepatic impairment, diabetes mellitus, asthma, epilepsy and migraine, have a history of mental depression, if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breast–feeding. Duphaston passes into breast milk, therefore it is not recommended to breastfeed wile taking this medicine. Some medicines may interact with Duphaston therefore tell your doctor of all prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement that you are taking. Do not take Duphaston if you have undiagnosed vaginal bleeding or a history of thromboembolic disorders.
